  • 10 Tips You Can Learn from Gordon Ramsay About Running a Business

    Posted on March 19th, 2008

Ok, as much as I’ve been looking forward to the next Top Chef for about six months, I’ve been waiting more like eight or nine months for the only food show I actually love more than TC to return to the tube: Hell’s Kitchen!

Since we’re closing in on roughly 10 days before the premiere of the new season — and sicne I have already spent a good amount of time on all things Top Chef (don’t worry, we’re not stopping) — it’s time to starting focusing on the one and only Gordon Ramsay. Later a fun video I have been saving, and in days ahead some good and bad news about everyone’s favorite cursing chef. For now, let’s start out nicely with an article entitled 10 things you can learn from Gordon Ramsay about running a business.

Basically if you’ve followed the four or five-years running now UK Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares on BBCAmerica or caught the several US-based ones on Fox, you’ll probably have figured out some tips yourself if you’re a budding restauranteur. But they can be applied to business in general too. Among those gleaned in this article are 1. Think simple and 2. Find your niche or unique selling point. For 3 through 10, check out the article — it’s a good one.
