In doing this site, I find more and more places either as reference points, resource sites, just plain enjoyable blogs and/or places I end up quoting more often than others. In short, I find some good stuff out there in web land. One of the best that I keep finding myself at is Robin Leach’s Vegas Luxe Life.

I mean it, that ol’ tycoon has got the pulse of Vegas down so unerringly and perfectly it’s amazing. Someone comes to town, there’s a photo on the site, often with Robin next to them. Someone sneezes in town I swear there’s Robin the perfect gentleman offering a tissue. A new restaurant opens in town — which we know in Vegas is about every other minute and if not by this celeb chef here then by that celeb chef there — Robin not only has opening night table reserved, he’s in the back of the house mugging photos with the owner!
