Federal Judge Dismisses Suit; Couple Thought They Invented ‘Rachael Ray’

News, Rachael Ray
28 Mar 2008 Ah, Hollywood. And in this case I don't mean the land of palm trees, avacados and DUI starlets, but ... take a whiff ... ahh, the scent of lawsuits permeating the air. Seems there's two prevalent smells, that of someone stealing something from someone and the flip-side: someone thinking they invented everything and that everyone is stealing from them. Take the case of U.S.D.C. CD California, No. 06-7055 which we'll shorten the names down to "Zella and Crytsal versus The Food Network and the World As We Know It". These looney toons -- ohmygawd, they're going to ... {More...}

With Gawker being a prime example with their "Colicchio Outed" headline, albeit tounge-in-cheek: Last night's challenge, in which chefs were asked to design a menu based on the diets of five animals, seemed an elaborate set up to make the joke, as mathnet did ... {More...}

Rachael is Now Cooking for Dogs

Rachael Ray, TV Food Shows
13 Mar 2008 Be honest. Please. Did this not scare anyone else besides me? First shown last Saturday and rebroadcast several times this week was the special: Rachael Ray Feeds Your Pets Featuring the recipes: Power Pooch Smoothies Peanut-Carob Isabooscotti Raw/Whole/Wild/Regional/Seasonal Dog Food Recipe Mini Muttballs and Ditalini That both scares and annoys me. Ok, the annoyance part is where does "pets" equate to "dogs only"? Food Network even you must be able to understand this concept. Yet you manage to piss off half the population -- the ones with cats especially but also birds, hamsters, ... {More...}
